At The Hands That Shape LLC, our journey began with a passion for turning ordinary materials into extraordinary works of art. Based in Faribault, Minnesota, we are a husband-and-wife team driven by creativity, craftsmanship, and a deep appreciation for handmade art. Growing up in families that cherished working with their hands, we've always believed in the magic of transforming ideas into tangible treasures.
Exploring New Dimensions with Laser Art
When we introduced laser technology into our workshop, it opened endless creative possibilities. We initially focused on crafting nature-inspired, laser-cut wood decor, incorporating detailed engravings and custom mahogany frames to showcase each unique design beautifully.
Our love for exploration soon led us to experiment with other mediums like paper, leather, acrylics, and exotic woods. We discovered a special affinity for creating intricate 3d layered paper art, meticulously constructing multi-dimensional images that captivate and inspire. Selecting complementary colors, textures, and materials became a rewarding process, expanding our collection into diverse and striking creations.
Digital Design Files for Makers and Creators
Understanding the joy and satisfaction that comes from creating something yourself, we now offer our own custom-designed digital craft files. Our collection includes detailed patterns for crafting intricate 3D layered paper shadowboxes, wood inlay wall art, and a variety of laser-cut designs perfect for ornaments, gift tags, and unique home decor items. Designed with precision and care, these files allow fellow makers, crafters, and small businesses to bring beautiful handmade art to life with ease.

Drawing from our extensive experience as craft show participants, we're now thrilled to host craft and gift shows throughout the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota.
