The Hands That Shape Joins Eclectic Alliance In Faribo
Thank goodness one of us still reads a newspaper. Back at the end of May Matt happened to come across an article in the local paper about a new store opening in August 2022 called Eclectic Alliance. The owner of Eclectic Alliance was looking to rent out spaces inside her store ranging from roughly 100-300SF to over 35 small businesses, crafters and artists. As luck would have it a few spaces were available; so we got to work drawing up plans for a display to fill the 10x10 space we rented.
Matt built six custom shelves, each with three rows of slanted shelving, a top for products and a pegboard backer for wall hangers. Towards the end of July we were able to begin moving the displays into the store and a week later, just a few days before Eclectic Alliance opened, we loaded the shelves with inventory.
Many different products will be available at The Hands That Shape booth including wood nature scenes, wood flags and quilts, layered paper art and jewelry. We plan to rotate products and are currently working on fall and Christmas items that will be stocked at the store starting in a couple months.
We hope you can join us. Eclectic Alliance officially opened August 2, 2022 and store hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10am to 5pm. Eclectic Alliance is located at 200 Western Ave, Faribault, MN at the Faribo West Mall.
12/30/2023 Update: Turning the Page at The Hands That Shape LLC.
As 2023 came to a close, we at The Hands That Shape LLC. embraced a pivotal change – our departure from the Eclectic Alliance store, with our last day being December 30, 2023. This transition, though bittersweet, opens up new horizons for us and our valued customers. We are immensely thankful to Eclectic Alliance and the entire community for their support and for providing a fantastic platform for our products. The memories and connections we've forged during our time there are irreplaceable and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
While we bid farewell to this chapter, our journey continues with undiminished spirit and commitment. We're excited to remind our customers that our unique and beloved products, from intricate wood nature scenes to our signature layered paper art, remain readily accessible. You can continue to find our handcrafted items at familiar locations: our well-established online store and our Etsy shop, both of which have been longstanding destinations for our creations.
Additionally, we are enthusiastically continuing our presence at various craft shows throughout the greater Twin Cities area in Minnesota. These events not only allow us to showcase our latest and most beloved products but also give us the joy of connecting directly with our community.
