Our daughter was born a couple weeks after our last craft show.  As many families have experienced, she came earlier than expected.  Early enough that she required an extended stay in the hospital in a special unit abbreviated as the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit).  Babies within these units receive dedicated care from truly wonderful doctors, nurses and hospital support staff.  They stay in these units until they have developed and are strong enough to be discharged to their families.

As a way to show our appreciation to this Team for taking care of our Daughter we designed a special 3D paper art that we included in a gift basket that we presented to the Team the day we were able to bring our daughter home.
